8.1. Clipping Plane

1. Start command ClippingPlane.

2. Set its configuration to Vertical.

3. Make sure Perspective is checked.

8.2. Orient Camera to Surface

1. Start command OrientCameratoSrf.

2. Select the surface where you want to orient the camera.

3. Be sure the arrow of the command points to the direction where you are located if not, select Flip.

4. You can zoom or pan to adjust the position of the view.

5. Set 3D View to Rendered.

8.3. Preferences

1. Go to Preferences > Display Modes > Rendered.

   • You can find it in Windows in the Options command.

2. Go to Objects tab > Clipping Plane Objects, and adjust the following settings:

   • Show Fills: Check

   • Color usage: Solid Color

   • Show Edges: Uncheck

   • Shaded selected plane: Check

   • Color Usage: Plane’s Color

   • Transparency: 95%

   • Clip Selection Highlight: Check

3. Start command ViewCapture.

4. Select the view where you want to take the capture.

5. Pick the location file and format.
